Do You Believe in Signs?

As writers we’ve all been there. You send off a proposal and the waiting begins.

When I’m playing the waiting game, I tend to look for signs my manuscript will hopefully sell.

This time I saw my ‘sign’ on the shelves of Sephora – a bath set with the same name as my book.

Honestly, it was probably just a coincidence, but I bought the set – and my proposal for ‘Sweet On You’ sold!

Anybody else? Come on, I can’t be the only desperately wacky person out there.

Tell me about your last sign.

  1. Congrats on the sell of your book!!! No, I don't do the whole signs thing, if I did then I would read waaaaay too much into the stop signs I see all the time...

  2. Congratulations! That is fantastic and well-deserved news about your book selling. And I LOVE the name of your book and that set of lotions. I love that product line but haven't tried the Sweet on You yet. Will check it out.

  4. Thanks for the congrats (and for stopping by), ladies!

This bath set smells REALLY, REALLY sweet. I keep it in my office instead of the bath. Not sure if I'll actually use it.

  8. As great a writer as you are, I believe your manuscript would've sold regardless of your coming across those Sweet On You products. Lol.
