Review: Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream

Oil of Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream $27.99
After a haircut a few months back, I spun around in the stylist chair to check myself out in the mirror. Unfortunately, I didn’t even notice my hair. I was too blown away by the skin sagging along my jaw line. “Who kidnapped me and left their grandma in the chair?” I wanted to wail.

Instead, I somehow managed to hold on to my composure, pay the stylist and lead-foot it down to the drugstore in search of a miracle. It came in the form of Oil of Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream.

I massaged it into my skin after cleansing, both night and day (underneath sunscreen). The scent is light and the thick cream absorbs quickly. For the most part, I have dry skin, but tend to be oily around my nose. I avoided putting the cream on that area. Within two weeks, I saw improvement along my jaw line. By the time I got to the bottom of the jar three months later – no more sag. And the rest of my face looked significantly more firm and smooth.

They say: Firms sag-prone areas, smoothes skin's surface and restores elasticity

Husband says: “Your face looks good. What did you do?”

I say: This one works, baby!

  6. Wow, what a great review, I may have to grab myself some more Olay! I already have a day and night cream and eye cream from their line and adore all of them!

  7. I love your review of this product. You make me want to buy it too. But your review of it and the story about sitting in the beauty chair is hilarious. I've sat in that chair before and thought the same thing. Ughhh!!! I'm break'n down.

  8. That's funny, I got 10 inches whacked off today and went to Sephora and the MAC counter for eye stuff. It all goes together.

  9. 10 inches? Wow, Elysbeth!

You can't tell a product junkie like me you went to Sephora and Mac without giving details of your haul.

That's like going to the yarn store and only telling me you bought yarn and a pattern.

When it comes to beauty products and yarn, I want to know EVERYTHING!!!

  10. I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one with the "Mom?" mirror experience. I'm also glad you checked out the Oil of Olay product. My skin is super oily all over the face, but if it helps the saggy jawline, I'm getting it next shopping trip.

Thanks for your sacrifice of the sag!

  11. I went and stared at the Microsculpt on the shelf, right next to the Oil of Olay product that was a little cheaper and purported to be for fine lines and wrinkles. I couldn't decide!!! So I just got my typical Regenerist Serum (that also works, IMO) and went home to see if the Olay site would send me any free samples to help me in my time of need :)

  12. Laura, for super oily skin, I'd probably would only use it along my jawline or wait for Olay to come out with a lighter, lotion formula.

Writer & cat, I agree, Regenerist Serum is AWESOME!

  13. Thanks for the review. I need something like this too. Everybody thinks I'm years younger than I am, but if they only knew my REAL age. LOL!
