What is that ONE product? In other words, what’s your instant pretty?
For
me, that would be Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Lip Gloss in Ruby Sugar. I’m wearing it in both the photo on the right and in the bio photo on my website. Bobbi calls it a soft red, but on me it’s a subtle pinky mauve.One swipe of it and men don’t even notice Beyonce or Rhianna are in the room because they’re too busy lusting after me. (Hey! I write fiction! I’m supposed to have a vivid imagination!)

That is a great colour, I'll have to investigate it. It looks like a glossier version of MAC vive 5, my favourite lipstick.
ReplyDeleteThe instant? Fender Bender lip gloss by Benefit. I don't tradionally like gloss, it seems to end up everywhere, and my hair sticks to it, but this gloss is gorgeous without feeling goopy or giving me blackheads around the lip line. And the colour is a cameleon, perfect for any outfit.

ReplyDeleteWanhhhhh! I don't have an instant pretty! Wait... I do throw on some Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer for some extra color when I need it... Rats! I don't think that counts... Oh well... off to find me some instant pretty. And I LOVE the new website and blog! It looks so pretty!

i will throw on some MAC wet,wild, wonderful and be set! most of my exes didnt really like the made up look but they liked when i threw on a nice subtle gloss.

ReplyDeleteif my hair is looking right then I think I'm good..throw on some gloss (Sephora gloss in 05- pinkish mauve with a great price tag lol). My biggest thing though is my hair. that determines my confidence level =)
i love it! pinky mauve isn't even my type of color but you def make me want to try it!!!

If I admit that there's no instant pretty in my purse, unless you count pacifiers, pens, old receipts, baby pictures, expired coupons, Mcdonald's toys out of the wrapper, Mcdonald's toy wrappers... can I still visit your blog? heheheh I think I'd have to fake it with a cellphone and a pretend phone call with my agent. It wouldn't be instant pretty, but I'd settle for instant worldly success.

Elysbeth - Ruby Sugar is very simular to MAC's Viva Glam 5, but has a lot less shimmer/glitter.
